There are a number of walking tracks throughout the property. Guests are welcome to use of the property for birding and exploring during their stay and a map of the property can be found in each cottage.
All linen, towels and tea and coffee making facilities are provided in both cottages. Although they have fully-equipped kitchens for self catering, we can arrange continental or full breakfast provisions in each cottage as an additional option. We can also deliver evening meals to the cottage on request.
We aim to reduce our environmental impact in the cottages by providing a number of environmentally responsible features such as reduction of waste through recycling and compost facilities, energy saving light globes, well insulated walls, floors and ceilings. We also use environmentally friendly and natural cleaning products. Pure rainwater is collected for use in the cottages. This water is double filtered and tested twice yearly at the Public Health laboratory to ensure it is of the highest standard so that guests can safely drink it directly from the tap.
